intuit has a history of less quality and raising prices. I was forced into quickbooks online having previously used quickbooks desktop.
The GREEDY EXECS at intuit are now slamming people for $99 a month and the new system is GARBAGE. It is ten times the work the old system was. EXPECT PRICE INCREASES from these GREEDY people. I spent over 3 HOURS on the phone with tech support.
The system is so messed up even THEY often don't know how to fix it and they spend more time on hold than with you. WORST COMPANY EVER!
GREEDY! Boycott this ripoff!

I took their exam and passed with 86%, three weeks ago, and still have not received my badge. They say they cannot find me in their system.
Credly sees the activity, but Intuit cannot? How is that even possible? The MOST frustrating part of all this is the lack of communication! Just to "hurry up and wait." Wait, wait, wait.
It has been three weeks and the best I've received is an email from them saying they escalated it. THAT'S IT!

Intuit sent an invoice for $999 for 1 year desktop QuickBooks service. I called customer service complaining about the high price, and the Intuit representative, after discussions with his manager, assured me that I would get a $200 discount. I called later after not receiving the discount, and they said they do not have any record of the call.

I successfully tested out four days before my accountant badge expired. Received no email from Intuit nor Credly.
Credly says issuing organization revoked it, but cannot tell me why or how to resolve it. I reached out to Intuit, the ISSUER of the badge, and have had zero response or explanation! Today I received the usual bot email that my badge has expired and that my profile will be removed, and any benefits as a ProAdvisor will expire. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, INTUIT!
Shame on you! Give me the badge that I rightfully earned and reinstate any/all benefits I had as a ProAdvisor!

I had a 1099 this year so TurboTax said I can't free file, said cost of upgrade would be $79.00 now I finally saved the $79 and they wanted $135.00 PLUS TAX! After trying to reach customer service to no avail, they arbitrarily dropped it to $111.00 plus tax.What kind of business practices are these folks using?
We cannot afford $100 to file.
I am on disability and my wife lost her job 6 months ago and at 59, and after submitting over 400 resumes she can't get a job. HELP, please.

For 2 days I have not been able to resolve an issue getting my tax refund check that INTUIT sent me not the IRS but Intuit sent. Every place I try to deposit it or cash it cannot verify the check so I it no good.
No one will take it. The IRS sent my money to Intuit or TurboTax I don't know that process but it should have been deposited directly into my account as my state taxes were but that didn't happen. So Intuit got paid, they kept their payment out of my return and issued me a check for the remainder but I cannot get it. This is not fair to the person needing and waiting on this money.
No one at customer service can figure out what to do. I am a person that lost their job due to no fault of mine 2 weeks before Christmas and am now drawing unemployment. This money isn't extra money this money is to keep my roof over my head and my electric on. So it's not that I am a greedy person trying to get every dime I can.
This is a situation in which my whole entire life hangs in the balance of me getting my tax return and being able to continue to live without becoming homeless or losing my car or a entire host of other items. I am told I cannot speak to anyone at Intuit other than the. Customer service line I have been on the phone with every hour they are open for two days now. So this keeps me from things I need to be doing, I shouldn't be changing my money down from a company that got their part of my refund without any issues.
It should be this company chasing me down to give it to me. So I would appreciate someone making contact with me that can truly do something that will help this situation.
Customer service has no idea what to do and they need the support from corporate to resolve this matter. Without them what good are the ones sitting in offices drawing six figure salaries.

I purchased TurboTax Deluxe 2024 to do some end-of-year tax estimating and found out two sections (probably more) wouldn't be 'available' until January 10th and 25th. So, I spent $60 on software that doesn't work.
This is deceitful and lazy... Why release software with significant portions that don't work?

Your system rejected my valid debit card number. I was simply trying to input a new debit card number because my previous one was corrupted.

It's taking me multiple attempts to try and pay my bill to Intuit. I'm still waiting to hear back from Intuit customer service - a human being who can address this problem.

I have been trying to delete my business account for TurboTax because I do not own a business. Yet every time I try to delete the data for it, I keep getting this refusal notice:
'Dear valued TurboTax customer,
We noticed there was activity in the TurboTax portion of your Intuit account (this could be you purchasing a TurboTax product or e-filing your 2019 tax return) after you requested to delete your TurboTax data.
We stopped your request to delete your data for the remaining portion of the tax season until October 31, 2020, to ensure all essential tax services remain available to you throughout the tax season.'
This has absolutely nothing to do with the business account. I want it deleted so I don't have to worry about the IRS or someone giving me penalties. I first did it with the help of customer service, but it didn't help me the first time. I tried to do it myself over and over again, but the outcome was the same.
I mean, the business is labeled under my email address 'gorillazfan132000.' What sense does that make? And TurboTax and Intuit still refuse to remove it?
I need the business account gone, deleted, removed indefinitely.

I cannot get a payment from a customer transferred to my bank account.
QuickBooks On-line was changed without my knowledge to include a "View and Pay" option for the customer which I did not notice added onto my email template. It gave my customer a way to pay an invoice directly from their bank account.
The transfer of money occurred (they charged my customer $25 for this privilege), however, the other end of this transaction (transfer of the money from Intuit to my bank) was not set up. Even after I set up a "Merchandising Account" which I did not want (but was promised that it would solve the issue), the money ($875) has not been transferred to my bank account. I have made countless calls over the past 3.5 weeks and got countless promises of escalations and 24-hour resolutions, but the money is just sitting there in some account at Intuit. I get emails telling me that I have funds waiting in my QuickBooks account, but no one can tell me how to get it transferred to my bank.
Switching from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks On-line has been a big mistake.
The support people are polite, but I have never dealt with such an unprofessional Corporation. If they do not have their own business and accounting under control, how can they produce accounting software?
