Truth -- god bless them for having customer support in North America, even if those reps are under-trained and suck. It's better than getting tax support from India.

Intuit loves to rip off small business

Recently our company had a run in with intuit regarding a chargeback that was declined by the customers own credit card company due to a contract dispute. The customers own credit card company Wells Fargo called us on the phone and we sent in copies of two contracts specifically stating restocking charges and finance charges. Their item was financed . The end result was breech of contract by these customers and the claim was denied. The processing company however was INTUIT and they have a different approach to chargebacks. They just drain your bank account after banking hours so the banks security doesn't catch it until the next day. There are no emails sent to your business for 36 hours. We did respond to the email and got an automated response that we would hear from them within 2 business days. There was never a response, no return calls and they sent a non working fax number. Our course of action was issuing stop payments on the code ID of the transaction but because they did this after business hours several payments went through. As a business experiencing this you will never get a call from INTUIT they will never respond. The email you will eventually get looks like spam with no information on it. no names no contact numbers. We did however issue a chargeback of our own on their subscription fee and we closed our business account associated with their quickbooks service then just opened another account. You never ever want to let these people into your finances for any reason. Get your own programs going.

Turbo Tax did not populate a form and Intuit does not care!!!

I just received a letter from the IRS saying I our them more money. After calling the IRS and talking to an agent I find out that there was no 8962 form that goes along with the 1095-A (Health Insurance Marketplace Statement). I called the support line and after 1 1/2 hours it was determined that I checked the right box but their software was faulty. Never did I get an I am sorry or anything just told to refile my taxes to Federal and State(s). I told the service person on the phone how this made me feel about TurboTax and having to pay and additional $ 2,500. I do not like the feeling that even though you purchase a companies software that if they make a mistake that THAT THEY FEEL THE HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY!! I will be telling everyone that I know or anyone I see purchasing this garbage software to stay away and the reasons why!!

Was misled about QB 2017 capabilities which lead to the outsourced customer service rep canceling everything software, payroll and support. While trying to fix what she had done I spent 2 hours going from supervisor to supervisor with each trying to rip me off by saying I had to pay more money to reinstate the service. Customer service refused throughout the process to transfer me to someone within the US to resolve the problem. 45 min on the 3rd call to reinstate the product and the original price I paid. I then had to be sent to the payroll department to fix my canceled service. 20 min into this part of the call and they once again wanted to charge me more to fix the problem. Ended up having to renew for 1 year because after 40 min they could not simply reinstate my subscription. This is why you don't outsource, after 10 years with QB I will not be looking for a replacement.

You sound like a *** who doesn't know how to use a search engine to fine a cs phone number. Dont blame a company because your not savvy enough to find a cs number.

Intuit - Quickbooks Support - Horrible!!!

I dread calling support and when I do, it literally takes up my whole day. I have NEVER been able to get off of a call in less than 1.5 hours. I am constantly shuffled from person to person ALL of them asking me my License number, e-mail and name which takes a good 7 minutes per person. So Frustrating! THEN after being on a call with a support person for several hours, come to find out they have NO IDEA how to fix the problem so they transfer you to another. I can't!!! I use Quickbooks for all 4 of my clients and considering a change. My most recent complaint is after being on a call with support for 3 hours yesterday, we ended the call with her "Mikee" in Business Applications wanting a conference call with my 3rd party TSheets application to try and figure out my issue.. She was supposed to call me back at 11:30am pacific time in which I scheduled the same time with the 3rd party person.. It's now 1:07pm and no call! I have called QB 3 times today trying to get in touch with her or a supervisor with no luck. I am still on hold and it's been 1 hour 36 minutes so far with nothing! At this point I am about to blow because I just got a call from 3rd party saying that he needs to go home for the day soon.
