Which, with our experiences over the past month and a half, means no one at Intuit.
I wish I could say that I'm surprised that a billion$ company would be so disconnected from their ethical responsibilities to their clients, but, sadly, I've seen this before. On a personal level it's the reason I refuse to shop in certain stores or purchase certain products (vote with your dollars and all that), but on a professional level my frustration is greatly increased by my lack of alternative options...and the fact that corporate America is really good at head-locking small businesses.
Sure-- there are other companies offering similar services as Intuit that we could take our business tobut, my goodness, how frustrating that will be in the brief interim...
We spend nearly $5K on QB's each month.
Nearly $60K a yearand counting. Our firm/client list is expanding with every passing day (thank the powers that be), which means our QB's bill is consistently on the rise as well- yet, somehow, Intuit doesn't need to concern itself with such matters.
I'd intended to appeal to the QuickBook Gods to help us resolve the issue that has prompted my doctor to increase my anxiety medicationbut, as it turns out, I'd rather just suffer the consequences and not have to deal with QB customer service agents any longer.
If this does, however, reach someone who cares about the ethical compass of Intuits business model then know thisI have hours of recorded phone conversations, a novella of printed chat conversations, phone records that if they could would demonstrate the many HOURS we have spent on hold (many times only to be hung up on), and multiple employees who know a new variety of rage than ever before towards a mere business model.
